CONDITIONS FOR THE ELECTRICAL ENERGY SERVICE
For safety purposes, the BolognaFiere electrical systems must be considered live at all times, even if the electrical power supply is momentarily disconnected regardless of the cause.
Accessibility of electricity supply points
The electrical power supply points (electrical panels) must be easily accessible and available for inspection and must be free of any obstruction so that they can be connected and disconnected and subsequently inspected by BolognaFiere personnel.
Electric installations on stands must be implemented in accordance with Ministerial Decree D.M. 37 dated 22/01/2008 and CEI (Italian
Electric Standards Committee) standards. The BolognaFiere Official Supplier electricians will not make the connection to the power mains if installations do not conform to these specifications and if the Exhibitor has not submitted to BolognaFiere the following compulsory forms:
- Form M - Declaration of correct installation of electrical system and fittings, to be submitted even in the absence of a stand structure
- Form N1 - Declaration of conformity of electrical system (to be submitted only if the system is installed by an authorised Italian company)
N2- Verification of compliance of electrical system (to be requested on-line to Bolognafiere only if the system is installed by a foreign company)
The connection and the disconnection must be made exclusively by electricians from BolognaFiere’s Official Suppliers.
It is strictly prohibited for the Exhibitor to make its own connection and disconnection or tamper with the BolognaFiere electrical
system. The Exhibitor will be held responsible for any malfunctions or damage caused by connections made by unauthorized personnel.
The dedicated connections and disconnections to the BolognaFiere fixed utility systems must be made exclusively by personnel from specialist companies authorised for this purpose by BolognaFiere, who shall be solely responsible for determining the appropriate number, position and type of supply points. These supply points may be located outside the stand area. The exhibitor is responsible for installing at his own expense the entire length of connecting cable from the supply points described above.
Rules and conditions of service
Within the limits of the installations available, BolognaFiere may supply electric power both for lighting and for motive power at the terms and conditions set out below.
The electrical energy service is charged according to the power requested by the user, even if less energy is actually consumed.
If the sum of the individual power ratings of the installed appliances capable of being connected to the electricity supply exceeds the installed power, this higher power will be used for billing purposes. If a power socket serves a number of user appliances (but never simultaneously), the installed power will be calculated considering the highest powered appliance.
The “Electrical Energy Service” must be requested on-line within the stated deadline. Orders for the Services placed by 6 Sept. 2019 will be eligible for a discount of 23%.
The guarantees and risks conferred to BolognaFiere by the suppliers are passed on to the Exhibitor.
The electric installations are fed with 50 Hz (+/- 2%) input and a voltage of 400 Volts three-phase and 230 Volts single phase (+/- 10%) with earth and neutral protection leads. The electric installations inside the stands are entirely the Exhibitor’s responsibility and must conform to D.M. 37 dated 22/01/2008 and to CEI (Italian Electric Standards Committee) specifications. Moreover they must be carried out according to the provisions of the Exhibition Technical Regulations and Safety File.
For installation of the electric systems in the stand, the Exhibitor undertakes to make use of specialised firms and/or qualified personnel meeting the requirements established by the standards.
Furthermore, the Exhibitor is obliged to check the mains voltage personally at the time his electric installation or equipment is connected, thus releasing BolognaFiere, the Organizer and the electricians of the Official Supplier from all liability for damages that may be caused to persons or property due to failure to check the voltage or for any other reason.
In the event that the required power cannot be distributed through the existing electric system, BolognaFiere may at its unquestionable discretion either limit it to the capacity of the system, or boost its own system with other provisional lines. In the latter event, booster lines will be installed by BolognaFiere but all costs will be debited to the Exhibiting firms involved. As a rule the distribution of electric power for lighting, motive force and other uses will be interrupted immediately after the Exhibition, with exceptions being allowed for justified reasons, to be applied for in writing. The above conditions also apply to stands located in outside areas.
